This campground does not use a reservation system, it is managed on a first-come, first-served basis and there are no fees. Lots and lots of green leaves. Of all the different rv parks we've stayed in, we've never encountered an extra daily charge for our tow vehicle, or when we traveled with our trailer, an extra fee for our truck. Cherry Creek Campground is a primitive dispersed campground by Hebgen Lake. One oddity: Be prepared to pay an extra $10 fee (per night) for your tow vehicle, or your truck (if your hauling). We absolutely love Cherry Creek. (5) Dust, some parks are so dusty that even after short stays your unit needs a bath, not here, the dust on our coach was very minimal compared to many other parks. Tree branches, leaves, etc all over the ground and on camper. Since we had to take our car to a local dealer and they couldn't promise when it would be fixed, we were trying to figure out a way to move our camper/trailer off the site so it would be available for the next party. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. The sites are cement and level. Cherry Creek State Park offers a great getaway from the daily grind, with recreation opportunities anchored around a 880 surface-acre lake. We were grateful to everyone, especially our campground host and Mikaela, who had tried to accommodate our situation and make our stay there enjoyable and positive, but the total lack of compassion and grace exhibited by Barry left us with a very negative overall experience and perception of the campground.
